Kids Points is a shared family reward, Super point, makeup, and child-notes tracker with interactive iPhone and Android widgets.
Open the family menu and choose Invite code. A second parent can choose Join family and enter that six-character code. Anyone with the code can join, so share it only with trusted family members.
In the app, reward points, Super points, and makeups each have direct plus and minus controls. Hold a control for accelerating single-step changes, or tap the displayed number and enter the final total you want. One save can change the total by up to 1,000,000; Super points and makeups cannot fall below zero. Daily and manual score resets affect reward points only. In the compact widget, the shared buttons adjust the selected reward or makeup counter; each child’s Super point balance is shown read-only.
Tap the small note icon beside a child to keep a note shared with joined family members. Notes are separate from all counters and do not appear as rewards or history entries. History screens combine adjacent matching taps into a clearer displayed total, while the underlying attributed audit records remain intact.
Counter taps update the displayed number immediately, then synchronize with the server. While both apps are open, another joined device normally receives a committed change almost immediately. Optional background push delivery asks a suspended app to fetch the newest authoritative family snapshot and refresh its widget; mobile operating systems may delay or omit silent background delivery, so opening the app always performs a full refresh. If synchronization fails, Kids Points retains, reconciles, or rolls back the optimistic value as appropriate.
Choose Delete family from the family menu to permanently remove the family, children, reward scores, Super point and makeup balances, child notes, history, and all device sessions. Choose Leave family to remove access from the current device. When that device is offline, its background-refresh registration automatically becomes inactive after 30 days without renewal.
